Kelowna Roof Replacement Services For Shingled & Flat Roofs
Backed By Our 10-Year Labour Warranty!
When it comes to roof replacement in Kelowna, Archer Roofing is the local roofing company you can trust.
Our roofing company serves Kelowna & surrounding areas, providing quality smaller roof replacements done by a certified, insured and experienced roofing professional.
Our quotes are free, we never up-sell services and only recommend what you actually need.
We Are Your Roof Replacement Experts.
As experienced roof replacement professionals, we have an intimate understanding about the types of issues that arise with both shingled and flat roofs.
We’ve been at this for a long time and not much gets by us (if anything at all), which is why we’ve been able to stay in business for this long.
Our clients love us and we’re confident that you will, too!
Don’t hire just any roofing company to do your work:
Look around, read-up on what different roofing companies have to offer (like any roofing warranties) and make an educated decision.
We provide free quotes, free on-site visits and all of our work is supported by written guarantees and product warranties.
Here's What You Can Look For When Choosing A Local Roof Replacement Contracting Company:
Since roof replacement can be extremely costly, and there are many competitors who offer a variety of prices, deciding on a shingle and the company to install it is no easy choice for homeowners.
At Archer Roofing, we urge you to do your due diligence when hiring a roofing company.
Don’t just choose a roofer based on price: Check their background, training, certification and licenses.
The old adage of ‘you get what you pay for’ certainly applies to your roof as well.
Making the wrong choice could leave you with shoddy workmanship and cheap shingles that will almost always fail within a few years.
Why Choose Archer Roofing For Your Roof Replacement?
A new roof by Archer Roofing offers many advantages to the homeowner.
Foremost, you will have peace of mind. Your roof will be in the hands of an experienced and licensed roofer, and red seal certified carpenter.
Working on some of the finest homes in Kelowna, Pawel Matonog has built his reputation in the roofing and construction industry on his honest principles and commitment to quality workmanship.
Each roof replacement project is inspected and supervised by Pawel, who only uses superior roofing materials and installation techniques.
After the initial meeting and roof assessment, you will get a written, detailed estimate that outlines the roof replacement process, materials used and associated costs for your roof.
The combination of our exceptional work and our ‘double warranty’ (the manufacturers plus Archer’s own 10 year guarantee on our work) distinguishes us from the competition.
Having us do your roof replacement won’t leave you worrying about things like leaks, blow-offs or other roof repair necessities for many years to come. And we don’t just say it: We guarantee it!
You will also save on energy costs, as efficiency is restored and that makes a noticeable difference in your home’s energy losses.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, you will have peace of mind and comfort knowing that your roof is protected and under warranty.
Roof disrepair or leaks cause inconvenience and discomfort. A new roof from Archer Roofing will alleviate that.

Our Roof Replacement Installation Process Includes:
- Rigorous inspections during every step of the roof replacement installation process to ensure that the highest quality standards are being met.
- Each shingle is installed with 4-6 nails for maximum wind resistance and durability.
- Ice and water shield is installed in all valleys, eaves and roof-to-sidewall sections.
- Premium grade underlayments are used and installed to eliminate water penetration.
- Flashings are expertly tailored to your sidewalls, skylights and chimneys.
- Every step is taken to ensure that a tight, waterproof surface has been established on your roof.
Flat Roof Replacements
We’re not the same-old kind of flat roof replacement company and we don’t take on flat roof replacement jobs just for the sake of taking them on.
We give you our honest and professional opinion of your roof’s current condition and explain all of the options – including the least expensive ones – so you can make an educated decision.
Flat roofs are different than shingled roofs, and, for that reason alone, you deserve to know what those differences are in terms of cost, quality and how your flat roof relates to the local weather and to other environmental factors (like overhanging trees).
Why Choose Archer For Your Flat Roof Replacement?
History matters.
Archer Roofing™ is an experienced flat roof replacement contracting company that has been working since 1989.
Pawel Matonog’s honest principles and commitment to quality workmanship ensure that your flat roof replacement is in the right hands.
Your search for the best flat roofing companies ends with him.
The most important element that Archer Roofing™ focuses on when installing a flat roof is waterproofing.
Our flat roof replacement installers (flat roofers) also make sure that the roof deck is in proper condition before membrane installation and has the correct pitch to ensure proper water drainage.
Each flat roof replacement installation is inspected and supervised by Pawel, who only uses superior materials and installation techniques on each roofing project.
An Archer Roofing™ flat roof replacement is made of the highest quality workmanship and materials backed by “IKO” and “Bakor” warranties.
In addition, our ‘double warranty’ (the manufacturer’s plus Archer’s own 10 year guarantee on our work) is what distinguishes us from the competition.
What Happens During Our First Meeting?
- Pawel Matonog will carefully inspect your flat roof for drainage problems, ponding, physical damage, condition of membrane coating, skylights, chimney / vents, fascia, soffit, gutter condition, and, most importantly, your underlying roof condition.
- The initial meeting and estimate is free of charge to ensure a low-pressure environment, as there is nothing worse than being compelled with pushy sales tactics when making such an important and expensive decision for your home.
- After the preliminary meeting and roof assessment, you will get a written, detailed estimate that outlines each step of the re-roofing process for your flat roof, which materials will be used and the associated costs.
- No Up-Selling or Pressure-Sales Tactics.
- If your roof is in decent enough shape to last a while, we will tell you so and be on our way.
- If some minor repairs are needed in order to prolong the life of your roof, we will make that recommendation, explain what is needed and allow you to make the final decision.
With safety front-of-mind, Archer Roofing does not use outdated and dangerous “Torch-on” roofing products on flat roofs and none of our roofing materials are applied "hot".
We use the latest self-adhered technology and materials with critical areas being sealed with automatic, electric air-welders and robots.
Some of the reasons we refuse to use Torch-On Roofing include:
- Torch-On Roofing Poses Significant Fire Risks
- Torch-On Roofing Warranties Are Restrictive
- Torch-On Roofing Is A Poor Financial Investment
- Torch-On Roofing Is Environmentally Harmful
- Torch-On Roofing Poses Potential Health Risks
Our Roof Maintenance & Inspection Services
We believe that your roof is one of the most important elements of your home, and as such, should undergo regular maintenance.
Doing a little work on your roof now can save you a LOT of money later!
Hire Archer Roofing for your annual roof maintenance and we’ll take care of it for you.
Why Is Regular Roof Maintenance Necessary?
Preventative roof maintenance is the key to extending the life of your roof and is something that every homeowner should think about.
Having a solid roof over your head protects your family from the elements and your interior from damaging leaks.
Roof maintenance is recommended two times per year in Kelowna: During the Spring season-after the seeds drop, and in the Autumn-after the leaves fall (to keep your roof and eaves free of decomposing debris).
Most roofers will tell you that leaks emanate from openings in the roof along joints, vents, valleys, and chimneys, which are all places that this harmful debris collects.
A twice-yearly program gives your roof a longer service life, since debris is cleared away and it allows for water to drain properly off of your roof and away from your home.
In addition, most roofing system warranties require documented maintenance programs to remain valid throughout the life of the roof.
Homeowners need to follow the recommended maintenance procedures, with good record keeping and contact the manufacturer within the time-frames specified, or your warranty will be deemed invalid.
This is where a roofing company you can trust comes in to document and take care of your maintenance needs.
Routine maintenance for your roof is conducted by our licensed roofer and carpenter, Pawel Matonog, who will assist you with developing a maintenance program tailored to your home and recommend ways you can achieve the greatest possible longevity from your existing roof system.
Archer Roofing has a comprehensive roof maintenance program.
Our Roof Maintenance Programs Consist Of:
- Removing all leaves and debris from the roof surface.
- Remove any soil or plants that can grow roots and puncture the roof system.
- Clear the gutter system, removing any debris and ensuring proper water flow. This is especially important on tree-lined properties, as the gutters fill up every year, obstructing the free flow of water. Metal gutters will also rust and deteriorate a lot faster if there is improper drainage.
- Note any areas where damage/punctures have occurred in membranes so that they can be repaired.
- Check for ponding on flat roofs.
- Inspect penetrations by other trades, such as A/C units, satellite dishes, pipes, etc., to make sure the seals are watertight.
- Caulk any worn skylight seals.
- Make sure vents are properly secured and sealed against water entry.
- Repair any loose or damaged shingles, check for popped nails that need to be hammered in.
- Examine all metal flashings for wear, splitting, and opening joints. The flashing around chimneys, skylights and vents is especially vulnerable to separation and needs to be resealed with caulking.
- Caulk any deteriorated sealants and joints.
- Fix cracks and mortar joints.
- Check for dark or discolored streaks on the roof, which is a sign of mold or algae.
- Re-secure metal cap flashing.
- Keep good records of maintenance, including the documentation of surface damage, faster than usual wear and any repairs performed.
